DESCRIPTION:[vc_row][vc_column][vc_column_text] \nOur August 3rd Trail Crew event will take place at Boice Family Park\, where we will improve a hillside section of the Orange trail where a seep has created a permanent muddy section. We will move rocks to make stepping stones and ditch the seep to allow drainage. \nWear sturdy shoes (sneakers or boots) and work gloves\, bring water and bug repellent\, and a shovel if you have one. DESCRIPTION:Join us at Axe Factory Preserve this Sunday\, April 28th at 9AM. We will be planting willow\, poplar\, oak\, dogwoods\, and winterberry – all species chosen because they support wildlife and thrive in wet soils along the creek-side habitat. \nYou don’t need to be a tree planting expert to participate. If possible\, just bring yourself a shovel\, gloves\, comfortable shoes\, a bucket for watering the trees\, and drinking water. \nWe will be meeting at 9 am in the Ax Factory Preserve Parking lot and should be done around 10:30-11. \nAxe Factory Preserve \n \n
