SUMMARY:2024 Trail Crew - Boice Family Park
DESCRIPTION:[vc_row][vc_column][vc_column_text] \nOur August 3rd Trail Crew event will take place at Boice Family Park\, where we will improve a hillside section of the Orange trail where a seep has created a permanent muddy section. We will move rocks to make stepping stones and ditch the seep to allow drainage. \nWear sturdy shoes (sneakers or boots) and work gloves\, bring water and bug repellent\, and a shovel if you have one. DESCRIPTION:Join us for our last Summer Trail Crew event for 2024! We’ll be at Gray’s Crossing\, where we will carry lumber to the far end of the meadow and assemble boardwalks for the muddy spot. \nWear sturdy shoes (sneakers or boots) and work gloves\, bring water and bug repellent\, and a shovel and/or wheelbarrow if you can. We’ll meet at the park entrance on Northline Road in Ballston Spa. \nPlease note: The rain date for this event is scheduled for Sunday\, August 11. DESCRIPTION:[vc_row][vc_column][vc_column_text]Volunteers welcome! Join us at Gray’s Crossing as we wade into the creek to remove tires from the water. FoK has removed over 1000 tires in the past and we are ready to grab some more! \nWhat to bring: \n\nCanoes and kayaks would be a huge help! We will be in the water to reach the tires but the canoes and kayaks will transport the tires back to the trail to be picked up.\nWater shoes to wear in the water on the slippery rocks.\nSunscreen\, bug spray\, and drinking water for yourself.\n\n [/vc_column_text][/vc_column][/vc_row]
