SUMMARY:Summer Trail Crew 2025: Axe Factory Preserve
DESCRIPTION:Summer Trail Crew 2025 is spending August 2nd at Axe Factory Preserve! Join our team of volunteers to cut and remove fallen trees\, and place stepping stones. \nWe will meet at the park entrance on Axe Street. \nWear sneakers or boots\, bring work  gloves\, bug repellant\, and water. \nIf you want to help with the stepping stones\, wear gloves and sturdy shoes that can get wet.  \nBring clippers or loppers\, if you have them. We will bring extra if we can and supply rock-moving equipment. \nRain Date for this event is Sunday\, August 3rd at 1oam. \nGetting together with friends for a casual work party in the woods is a great way to kick off the weekend. Many hands make light work\, so the more people show up\, the better the camaraderie and the quicker we get the work done. \nSave the Date for our Summer Trail Crew 2025! DESCRIPTION:Summer Trail Crew 2025 is spending August 9th at Axe Factory Preserve! The main goal of this final day of Trail Crew is to make solid stepping stones in the overflow channel on the upstream trail\, so you’ll want to wear sturdy shoes that can get wet (sneakers are fine) and water-amenable work gloves. \nOther tasks include sweeping off the concrete bridge support at the upstream terminus\, hand-clipping along the trails\, and raking away weed-whacker detritus on both upstream and downstream trails. \nSee you on the creek! \nRain Date for this event is Sunday\, August 10th at 1oam. \nGetting together with friends for a casual work party in the woods is a great way to kick off the weekend.
