Starting from Axe Factory Preserve\, volunteers will fan out to several sites along the creek to pick up litter and debris accumulated over the winter. More details to come! \nCome dressed for the job — gloves\, boots\, and durable clothing are a must. Thanks to County Waste\, we’ll have a central dumpster at Axe Factory for all collected trash. It’s a great way to give back to the local environment and connect with others who care about keeping the creek clean and healthy.

Volunteers will split into small groups to plant throughout the site\, helping to restore native habitat and strengthen the Kayaderosseras ecosystem.

This adventurous event begins at 9 AM at Grays Crossing and combines paddling fun with environmental action. \nTeams will navigate the creek to remove blockages and collect trash left behind by the spring thaw. Bring water-appropriate clothing\, gloves\, and small hand tools to help with branch and debris removal. All waste will be consolidated at Grays for proper disposal by the park service.
