Recap of our year during Covid
Board of the Directors Ballot and Vote
The guest speaker for the 2021 annual meeting is Mark Kugler, a resource scientist who will be discussing the opportunities and challenges of fish stocking in the Kayaderosseras. As a non-traditional student, Mark studied Fisheries and Aquaculture at SUNY Cobleskill after which he was employed at DEC’s Central Office as a seasonal Fisheries Technician. Now in his third year as a Stream Technician for the Otsego County Soil and Water Conservation District in Cooperstown, NY, his work primarily involves riparian restoration within New York’s portion of the Chesapeake Bay Watershed, and he aspires to learn natural stream channel design. Mark is an avid catch and release fly angler who has fished extensively throughout much of the Northeast (including a lot of time in the Kayaderosseras). His preferred fish to target are trout, with brook trout being his favorite.
