Summer Trail Crew 2025 is spending August 9th at Axe Factory Preserve! The main goal of this final day of Trail Crew is to make solid stepping stones in the overflow channel on the upstream trail, so you’ll want to wear sturdy shoes that can get wet (sneakers are fine) and water-amenable work gloves.

Other tasks include sweeping off the concrete bridge support at the upstream terminus, hand-clipping along the trails, and raking away weed-whacker detritus on both upstream and downstream trails.

Rain Date for this event is Sunday, August 10th at 1oam.

Getting together with friends for a casual work party in the woods is a great way to kick off the weekend. Many hands make light work, so the more people show up, the better the camaraderie and the quicker we get the work done.

Save the Date for our Summer Trail Crew 2025! Just like last year, we’ll meet up at different locations each Saturday during July and August to clear trails and complete projects to make sure our trails are clear and accessible.
